“We are ploughing back our profits into the business,” Kamani said. “We are definitely looking forward to a fundraise in the near future, and have arrangements with financial institutions for debt and overdraft facilities for working capital management.”
NEW DELHI: Rapidise estimates its fiscal year 2027 revenue to reach over ₹ 1,000 crore, and plans to invest up to ₹ 220 crore over the next four to five years to expand its capabilities, said a top executive at the deeptech original design manufacturing (ODM) company.
“This year, we expect more than ₹ 1,000 crore in revenues. We are looking to make a structured investment of ₹ 120 crore in our plant in Sector 8, Gurugram. We are also looking at vertical integration in the camera module space in our Greater Noida facility, where we will be making a capex investment of about ₹ 100 crore,” Brijesh Kamani, founder & CEO, Rapidise, told ETElectronicsWorld in an interview.
It reported a revenue of ₹ 513 crore in FY26.
Kamani, though, said Rapidise would consider applying for any manufacturing-linked incentive scheme for its camera components business, if such a programme is released by the Centre in the future. “…as soon as a new PLI comes and if that has an option for the camera module, then we definitely want to go for that.”
Presently, under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), camera module sub-assemblies qualify for a turnover-linked incentive ranging from 2% to 5%. However, applicants must commit to a cumulative minimum investment of ₹ 250 crore.
Rapidise’s factories serve customers in the security and surveillance, automotive, telecom, healthcare, Industry 4.0, and networking and compute verticals. Its capabilities span design, engineering, manufacturing, and lifecycle support.
“We are ploughing back our profits into the business,” Kamani said. “We are definitely looking forward to a fundraise in the near future, and have arrangements with financial institutions for debt and overdraft facilities for working capital management.”
Rapidise has engineering centers in major metro cities, including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Gurugram.
Rapidise is headquarted in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, but has local presence in US, Europe and Japan. It delivers ODM and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) to customers across the globe
“We have been exporting our products to the USA, Europe, and Japan. We are currently working with 20 active customers and have served 50 customers in the last 18 months,” the CEO said.
Rapidise competes against Cyient, VVDN Technologies, and other ODM and EMS providers.
